All of the authorized repair facilities for Apple are no longer doing Applecare repairs. Has Apple's supply chain failed or are they having financial problems.

Applecare+ providers in Hattiesburg Mississippi, Mobile Alabama, and Pensacola Florida all have quit doing repairs. Have to drive more than 200 miles to New Orleans, Birmingham, or Jacksonville. Apple appears to be entering a death spiral where they aren't able to provide service on the products they have sold along the central and eastern gulf coast.

Have you tried going to an Apple Store? AppleCare+ providers (I think you mean Authorized Service Providers) are slowing going out of business, but Apple certainly is not.

I have relied on Authorized Service Providers because the closest Apple Store is over 200 miles in both directions. The problem is I purchased these AppleCare+ packages and was promised good and timely service that is not being provided. Was three day wait to get appointment at Apple Store in New Orleans and did get some service there. Looks like Apple is entering a death spiral because the way they have abandoned customers in areas like mine will cause me to change back to other platforms as I replace my technology in the next year. The rude chat and telephone service agents saying that I either needed to use snail mail and wait three weeks or go to an Apple Store after finding that the four Authorized Service Providers had all quit doing business with Apple Care indicates to me that Apple is not able to support the level of field operations needed. The former Authorized Service Providers are still in business, they just aren't doing Apple Care.

Sorry you feel that way, but Apple is stronger than ever and is not entering a death spiral. Simply wait 3 days for an appointment. You can't walk right into your dentist or eye doctor can you?

Also, you mention you are going to switch to other platforms. Who will service the phones or laptops then?

Finally, what problems are you having?

The main problem I am having is dealing with attitudes like yours.
