Apple History / Corporate Webpage?

I'm writing a report on Apple and having trouble finding a page on Apple's website which has their history and other relevant background information? I've got all the info I need from Wikipedia but I can't use that as a source for obvious reasons.

Do Apple actually have a history/about us page on their website as I couldn't seem to find one anywhere?

Or are there any other big, industry-renowned websites which I could use as a source?

There is another thing you can do: go to the library and find a book. There are tons of books about Apple/Jobs.

And book? Is that a file extension? Can I open a .book file in Preview?
