I felt something was missing from the moment I started using Apple Homekit. Today, it hit me - No Apple Home app on MacOS. I spent some time searching the Mac App Store and google , but I only found a thread on Apple developers forum discussing this missing app.
I think that I noticed because my iPhone's battery was dead, and I wanted to turn the Philips Hue lights on in the living room. I ended up using the old fashioned wall switch, but it would have been nice to do it from my computer. I was already at the computer writing an article that's due tonight, and I had to break my flow ( 1st world problem ) to go turn the lights on.
Has anyone in these forums heard a peep from Apple about adding Homekit, specifically Apple Home, apps the Mac? I feel like it's a huge hole in their drive to unify the UX across devices.
