Hello

I just started using the Apple Home app to control my lights and I had a question: is there a way to group multiple lights together and control them as a group?

For instance: I have a lamp that uses 3 light bulbs. The Home app shows them individually, so if I want to make the lamp brighter i have to adjust individually each of the light bulb. Is there a way to quickly adjust the color or the brightness of the lamp at once, keeping the 3 light bulbs in sync? I'm using IKEA Tradfri bulbs, and this can be done through their app, but I would like to control everything from one single place, the Apple Home app.

Thank you

Hi there,

Yes it is possible, when you go into the details of a lamp or another device in Home app, you can group the accessories and make them act like one. For example changing the colour or the brightness will change it for the whole group.
