Hi,

I just started to set up my new rMBP 15" (Late 2013). After installing and activating the apple services (iMessage, Apps over the AppStore,...) you will get a mail from Apple where it says that your Apple ID was used to sign in on a Mac with it's corresponding name.

My problem is, that Apple says that my device is an Macbook Pro 13".

But that's wrong - it's a new retina Macbook Pro 15".

So - what went wrong and where can I change it?

I already set up Mavericks from recovery - but still the message.

Who can help?

strange behaviour - does it happen only with new haswell machines?

My old machine was recognized correctly (the one in my signature), so at least in my case it appears to be limited to the new rMBP. I wouldn't worry about it.
