I know how to obtain a list of devices currently signed in via my Apple ID

But is there a way to identify a list of all devices that I've ever signed into using my Apple ID?
(even those I subsequently removed from my account)

Out of curiosity I'd like to create a list of all the Apple computers, tablets, and phones I've ever owned. I can't remember this off the top of my head but my first purchase was around 2006 or 2007 so I suspect every device I've owned would have been associated with my Apple ID at some point.

that would be interesting - hopefully someone has some info on this - I would like to know the same

FWIW - when I log into my Apple ID (from a mac / safari) it does not even show many devices I still use - ie iPhone 4s, AW1, iPad Air

But on my iPhone 8 - I can see the iPhone 4s but not the AW1 nor the iPad Air

Strange and inconsistent

Try my support.apple.com

It's only going to list devices that you've added but did not later subsequently remove. And only those devices which qualify.

In other words, if you never registered the device or were not required to to activate it, it's not going to be listed. It is highly likely that you have removed many of the devices yourself because if you no longer use them, for security reasons you remove access to your ID.

@pmiles Thanks. Yes I was aware of this option. But it's really a way to identify removed devices that I was hoping for (since devices get removed when I sell/gift my old devices).

I don't think that information is kept anymore than a bank keeps records of credit card purchases or businesses keep receipts of sales beyond certain period of time.

Unless you have archived that information yourself, it's lost in the nether. You might try looking at old photos you may have taken over the years... sometimes a picture is all you need to identify the device or spark the memory of old.

Good idea, I’ll give that a go
