It looks like, no, not yet.... there hasn't really been new news on this, AFAIK, since about 10 days ago when people reported that Apple was working on a merge process....
In the future, I think this is going to become a bigger and bigger mess. There aren't many people who spend a large amount of money, say $1000 or more, in one year on iTunes, perhaps, but there are many who accumulate purchases that cost thousands of dollars on services like iTunes. These online accounts that hold digital purchases are going to have progressively larger and larger valuations, and by the time I retire, it's not inconceivable that my iTunes account could be worth tens of thousands of dollars, and it's even conceivable that the sum of all these online accounts could be worth as much as my house.... Say my SO doesn't have an iTunes account or any At some point, there will need to be reasonable processes that deal with all kinds of mergers and separations of content ownership, like marriage, divorce, death....
