Apple ID - questions on two accounts

Hi all,

I have two Apple ID accounts:
1- Italian
2- US

The only thing that I purchase through my US Apple ID are the movies, movie rentals and iBooks.

If I turn on music downloads on my iPhone and iPad, will I still be able to purchase and rent movies on my MacBook Pro and sync them with my devices through iTunes? I won't be locked to one Apple ID only on my MacBook Pro, is that correct?

Right. You can leave one account signed in on the phone while you switch back and forth on the MBP.
