Other Apple ID related question

Hi everyone,

I created an Apple ID account and now every time I logon to the Apple ID webpage below

https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin

I get prompted to enter the Two-Factor Authentication code.

But when I sign-in with my Apple ID and password from my iPhone, it does not require to enter any Two-Factor Authentication code.

My understanding is, that when I logon with my Apple ID using the Apple ID webpage https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin
is that the only time that it will ask for the Two-Factor Authentication code?

Afaik the only moment when you need to enter 2FA code is login from a new device or a new browser. Once authenticated, that device can become your trusted device and you dont need 2FA code again.
