Does anyone have info on Apple's presence in Botswana, Africa? I'm moving there next month and was wondering if you can buy Apple stuff directly in Botswana? Thx.

You might be better served by searching for the source and availability of the specific Apple products that interest you. Apparently, the iPhone was available in South Botswana before it was available in South Africa.

Google is your friend.

I'm moving to the capital Gaborone, which is in the south-east. Pretty close to Johannesburg to. I've read somewhere that the government over there is using a lot of macs. Still I can't find a trace of apple.co.bw.

Hi janvandervoort

There are many Apple Premium Resellers, authorised Apple service centres and authorised Apple Training centres in South Africa, all run by the official Apple IMC (independent marketing company) called Core, which I work for.

If you reside in Botswana, you can purchase from our online store:

http://www.zastore.co.za/

We ship to Botswana :)

Hope this helps :)

hey, randomly saw this thread,

anyway Apple has had a office/authorised reseller in Gaborone Botswana for as long as i can remember. Growing up there i remember being driven past their offices a number of times. They actually provided my school's computer dept with Apple Mac's. my first mac ;)

anyway back to the question, as far as i know its possible to get all apple hardware from them.. here is a Google maps link to the actual place.. check the Apple logo on the roof! good advertising Apple! he ehe
