Hi, I'm from Vancouver so we don't have an Apple store, but I'm wondering how much it costs for in store Apple tech support. Also, do they do on site tech support and if so how much does that cost? Thanks!

I don't know if the do on-site or not; perhaps if you have ProCare, but I've never heard of it.

Their support costs can be expensive (it would have cost me $300 to get an HDD replaced in my PowerBook), but that's why you buy AppleCare.

Ultimately, the cost of the repair will depend largely on the intricacy of the repair.

I c, $300 including the HD? Just trying to get an idea of their hourly rates. A lil research.
