Given Apple's seeming obsession with making smartphones and tablets more powerful and making all of its products thinner and more portable, I am surprised that Apple has not introduced a desktop docking station for the latest iPhones and iPads.
On 18 Jan 2018, Michael Simon wrote an op-ed piece for MacWorld about how he wishes Apple would copy Samsung's Dex Station, a docking rig that allows a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 to be connected to a desktop monitor, keyboard and mouse so you can use these Galaxy phones as mega-portable computers. Why can't Apple do the same with its own Lightning docking station for iOS? buff.ly/2DNrNx0
I just submitted the above feedback to Apple.
