earth, for now.
K,

so Amazon has an App store like thing.. and now they are going to get a Touch Sensitive display that is capable of detecting if its ur finger, or a style input because its very pressure sensitive... and an article online said it wont be used with e-ink, so this suggests that Amazon is going to the color displays with touch design... could this pose any sort or threat to what the iPad is and can do? Could amazon really make a 'tablet' device that gives you ALL the same benefits as the iPad does... really tho.. That's a big leap, isn't it?

Im placing my bets on the Apple iPad. Yup.

Just my thoughts. What do you think?

Having an app store for the kindle makes little sense given the limitations of e-ink and the design of the kindle. That is its really been designed as an ebook reader nothing more. If amazon produces a second device that uses a color display and is more multifunction. It will give apple a run for the money. Right now Amazon is the 800 lbs gorilla in the ebook segment. I would not count them out so quickly for that fact alone.
