Everyone has different needs and opinions. I, myself, prefer the X over the Xʀ. Portrait mode doesn’t work on objects with the Xʀ, which is all I use portrait mode for. I also use 3D Touch often. True blacks is something I like.

The Xʀ is a great device but it’s not a one size fits all iPhone.

For many the oled vs lcd will be a bigger deciding factor than A11 vs A12, as in day to day usage the oled will be a bigger difference for most cases.

Battery life is also a good point but for most, the X should get you through the day.

Other than synthetic benchmarks, is there anything iOS or Apps do that leverage the A12 over the A11?
