Saw all the news about Apple now selling the extra links for wider wrists plus the news on the XL sport band sizing and the modern pink band being available to order separately.

Wow, 6 links for 50 bucks, that seems pricey, no wonder apple jumped on this, they'll make a killing

Six links for $49 is just over $8 a piece. I think the OP was saying people on ebay were selling one link for $50. Not sure if you thought Apple was making a killing or trying to stop others from doing so by their pricing.

I imagine the target market for a 38mm watch won't have issues with the band being too tight.
Well, I was just saying because I've seen many men wearing the 38mm whom didn't necessarily got the 38mm for having a small wrist but because it's more appealing than the 42mm.

Unless you've got the space black link bracelet... but it wouldn't surprise me if Apple announces this fall/holiday season that you can buy that band as a stand alone item (and concurrently starts offering extra links in space black)
