Apple keyboard no longer working iOs11 iPadpro

After upgrading to iOS 11 on my iPad Pro 10.5” my Apple keyboard quit working. I thought it worked originally but quit after starting notes with the Apple Pencil. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Sorry, my keyboard and pencil both work fine with my iPad Pro.

The keyboards on the 9.7" Pro are very unreliable. I'd hope they fixed it for the 10.5" but maybe not, so perhaps it's just broken.

I did a hard restart and now it works. Maybe I should have done that after the upgrade to iOS11.
