Apple Keyboard (wired USB) when posting/replying to a MR thread

Okay, my setup is in my signature. I'm using the Apple wired keyboard that came with my cMP.

The issue:

Sometimes (often actually) when I'm replying to a thread, I'll be typing along at a decent rhythm and suddenly the characters start lagging and freezing on the screen (in the text box) as I type. Sometimes I'm a full line or two ahead of my Mac.

Is this a Yosemite bug or perhaps Safari, or what? Anyone else getting this annoying issue?

Yes. I am completely new to Mac but that was happening to me as well and really bothersome. I went into preferences and turned off check spelling as I type and it stopped. This might be your problem as well.
I am using an Apple wired keyboard on a iMac retina.
