When you are authorized a replacement laptop from Apple, who pays the shipping for your original unit back to Apple?

Do you send the original back first, or only after you receive the replacement?

Thanks.

I know when i have had to get things fixed... they ship me a box, i call DHL and have them pickitup (all prepayed by apple) and ship it back to apple... apple fixes it and sends it back to me.

Apple does pay for it all. When sending my Macbook in, they DHL overnight the box that includes foam and tape. The return label is under the original shipping label. Tear it off and give DHL a call and it's overnight to Apple repair. From Mass, my Macbook was sent on a Thursday and it was in the system as recieved on Saturday in Texas. The turnaround is very fast if the part is in stock.
