Apple Leather Bands - Longevity and Patina?

Hey guys! I'm thinking about getting an AW again. Leaning towards Hermes bands, but since the ones I likee most don't seem to be available right now, I'm wondering if you guys could share your experience with the Apple leather bands. How do they hold up over time, and how do they patina?

And if anyone has light coloured Hermes bands, how do they patina over time? I'm looking at lime, orange, white etc.

Imo only the Hermès fauve barénia band develops a patina overtime while the other Hermès swift bands more or less retain their color if cared for properly. Try posting in the Hermès Edition Owners Thread since the folks there have a lot more experience with the Hermès bands.
