Having the same exact issue on my umber case for 14P. Happened at least three times now where I had at the top right corner once and bottom left corner twice to push the phone back in.. returning ..

I'm hearing a lot about Apple case issues lately. I think it was a podcast where they were talking about the silocone case not fitting properly.

Maybe Apple didn't update their cases for the 14 series from the 13?

Update: went back to apple store yesterday and got a replacement case, having the same issue, every once in a while one of the corner will be out, and i have to push it back in.

I got a Midnight leather case for the 14P and it's very snug. The only complaint I have is that the buttons are not clicky at all. The leather case I had for my previous 12 Pro had buttons which were very clicky right out of the box. Very disappointed for a 69€ case...

This happened with my 12 Pro Max, and even a replacement case did the same thing. Most of the time, it's caused by putting your phone in your pocket with the screen facing out. Disappointing to see that Apple still hasn't fixed this issue two years later. If you're really set on using it, you can use a dab of stick glue in the corners of the case. The phone will come out fairly cleanly by putting a few drops of water in each corner and letting it soak down into the crack. I now use Decoded leather cases and have never had this issue with them. They also have much nicer feeling leather than the Apple cases.

I'm having the exact same issue on my own Umber case for my iPhone 14 Pro. One of the corners will often pull away while in my pocket--not great since a lot of drops happen while pulling it out of your pocket and it could drop with the corner exposed.

The case is incredibly tight on the phone it takes brute force to legit pop it out even if the corner pops oUt a bit Believe me.

I’m having a hard time with my leather case and the magsafe duo charger because it literally does not sit flush with the surface and I have to fight with my case just to get it out sometimes forcibly than the previous one i have had.

I like how you can see the polished surface from the front now but the grip is snug on the 14 pros!

Sometimes leather needs time to break in. You can speed this up by removing the case, and manually cycling the buttons like 15-20 times and then install it back on phone. I did this on my two Apple cases and this trick worked like a charm.

They’re metal on metal buttons requiring no break in. If mushy they are bad and won’t get better

“Metal on metal” - what? No, there is a non-metallic padding between the push buttons and the iPhone buttons. Look at the inside of the case.

So, no, it’s not metal on metal.

Push buttons are held on by the leather. Working the buttons manually helps the leather to flex a bit, improving the button travel. It worked for me. And there are several threads here where people have done it and worked for them.

It’s got to be a manufacturing issue. My Midnight 14PM case is very snug, no issues with the corners popping out. Conversely with my Orange case, the top left corner of the phone routinely pops out. Again it only occurs when the phone is sitting in my pocket.

I actually tried this and it kinda worked for the volume buttons but not for the power button. It is not even remotely close in terms of "clickyness" to the leather case on my 12 Pro unfortunately :(

I just got my phone and Midnight leather case for the 14 Pro Max. It is a snug fit, but the power button doesn't seem to align. There is no click when pressing the power button.

After putting it on and taking it off four times it finally started to work properly...

The power button on mine is the same way. No click when depressed. The volume buttons feel good though. I’m betting that this first batch of cases have some alignment issues.

Same issue here. 14 Pro Max black leather case. Corners pop out when phone in pocket or a bag. Terrible really.

My 14PM has this problem on the corner where the volume buttons are so it keeps sliding off and putting my phone on silent. It happens multiple times daily. Apple sent me a replacement case and it does the same thing. When I put my wife’s case on (same exact case) it doesn’t happen. I’ll try the solution listed above on buttons before heading back to the Apple Store.
