Apple leather sleeve alternative for the new MacBook Pro 16”

I loved the Apple leather sleeve for my old MacBook Pro because of its premium quality and slim profile even though some people didn’t like it as it was too pricey for a simple laptop sleeve.

Apple doesn’t seem to have plans to release a leather sleeve this time for the new M1 Pro/Max MacBook Pro, and I’m looking for an alternative to it, but not sure which one would be the best.

I know there’re some leather brands making MacBook sleeves out there, but it seems like many of them are just rebranding the old sleeves made for the Intel 15”/16” and selling those as for the new 16”, so I’m afraid the fit might be too tight given its larger size and they might damage my brand new MacBook Pro.

Could you recommend a good leather sleeve with a custom-made fit for the new MacBook Pro 16” if there’s any that you know of?

Nomad is supposedly making some for the new MBP's 14 and 16, but don't know how long they're going to take to release it. Real nice sleeves though, have one for the 13" MBA M1

I've long used Joli Original leather sleeves, and plan to get one for my 14" MBP. I'm using a generic neoprene solution as I'm travelling and didn't have time to wait.

Joli state they are already shipping 14/16" sleeves, but I can't confirm as haven't ordered.

SFBags Vero or Harbor London Slim. I have tried both (for the 14”) and prefer the Vero by a long shot. YMMV

Thanks for the pics! I had some of Nomad’s leather cases for my iPhones but haven’t tried their MacBook sleeves yet. The leather looks premium and I’ll definitely check out when they release the ones for the new MBP 16”.

Thanks for the info! Just checked out their website and the sleeves are quite pricey but look great.
Unfortunately 16” (2021) is currently not available on the website, but it’s good to know that their 16” (2021) sleeve should be dedicatedly made for the new MBP’s size, given that 16” (2019) is available on their website.

I’ve already checked Harber London, but they seem to be selling the same old 16” sleeves as the numbers of product dimensions on their product page are exactly the same between 16” (2019) and 16” (2021), and I doubt it would fit well my new MBP 16”.
SFBags Vero looks great though and I’ll definitely put it on my wishlist. Thanks.

Sorry for replying to an old thread. Would the old Apple Leather sleeves work with the m1 MacBook Pro 16 or is it too thick?
