Apple logo instead of pineapple

Hi
I have 2 questions;

1 - How can I change the pineapple for the apple logo again?
I have a 2G iPhone that has been unlocked/jailbraked with Pwnage, and when I start up the phone I get the regular Apple logo. My GF has an iPhone also, that has been unlocked/jailbraked with Pwnage as well, but she gets the pineapple. Is there a way to get the apple logo again?
BTW I pwhaged my GF's phone, and now is running 2.1, mine is on 2.0.3

2- Is there a way (safe) to replace the iPhone's metallic cage? the back of the phone? I bought these two phone used and they have a couple of scratches. Suggestions?

1. What you can do is backup her phone then restore it 2.1 and follow the instructions to jailbreak via pwnage and then when you get to the part about CYDIA etc, just uncheck the pineapple and after you finish jbing it, it will show with apple logo. and then restore the phone firmware again, then back to her backup and your good to go.

2. Yes, you can send it into apple for replacement backing. As for taking it apart im not so sure.

You can also just stick it in a sleeve and you no longer will see the scratches lol

Yes you can change the boot and recovery logos back to the original .png files, but it does mean using Pwnage Tool to create a new custom firmware .ipsw file; I'm assuming at this point that you are familiar with Pwnage Tool and have already used it to Pwn your iPhone, you just need to uncheck the checkboxes on the custom logos settings menu, that's this 1:

Regarding the case change, does apple check if your phone has been unlocke/jailbroken? or do they just change the case if you ask them to?

BTW, yeap I have a sleeve and a case for each one of them.

Have you re-Pwned them yet?

AFAIK Apple does not change the casing; if they did I imagine that it would be at a high price. Google lists quite a few places offering iPhone repair [in the UK at least] that list changing or re-conditioning the case as a service, but I'm guessing you're in the US, and then there is the big decision...who do you trust to send your beloved iPhone(s) to!

One more thing you need to pay attention to while you're customizing Pwnage. If you're on AT&T, you need to uncheck the Activate option or your phone won't connect. If you're not on AT&T, check it.
