I know how to type the Apple logo using my iMac ( shift/option/k)but how do you do it using the iPad? Like what keys do you press to do it if at all possible.

Thanks for a reply 

Emoji has an apple icon but it doesnt really look like the Apple logo at all.

I was looking at my Apple logo embedded on the back on my ipad last night.. I was wishing somehow the apple logo would light up with like a one watt LED of some kind. That would be sweet :apple:

Okay thanks for the replies. I guess it can't be done using the iPad.

Wait a minute! There's no need to give up hope so quickly :)

You CAN get the  and other special symbols like ⌘♠⌚ ⌥ on your iPad, although not by typing directly

See:

http://mrgan.tumblr.com/post/125490362/glyphboard2

follow the link on that page to Glyphboard2
Then press the + button in the Safari address bar to Add to Home Screen, and you'll have the Glyphboard web app there for you when you need it. Works offline too.

Not as convenient as simply typing with option keys, but still handy

Nice, I'll have to try that. I miss the ability to do that. I wonder if it would work with a keyboard attached?

yes, if you attach a keyboard via USB and the Camera Connection Kit, or bluetooth, the usual Shift-Option-k will give you the  symbol

Add http://apt.p2pworlds.co.uk/ as a repo in Cydia (yes, I know, it's a piracy repo, but this seems to be the only repo with the package).

Then download 'iType Apple Icon'. Respring.

Open Notes or whatever, open the keyboard, then press and hold 'A' (the letter). Slide your finger to the Apple icon.

I think you can then remove the repo.
