Searched through the forum listings, but couldn't find anything relevant.

Anyone know if Apple has ever considered or is considering some sort of loyalty/rewards program? I, like a lot of people, prefer Apple's products and tend to shop purely in the online Apple store or the Apple stores when in a city with one.

I can understand that Apple may think that a loyalty program may cheapen or tarnish its reputation, but what about the chance to return some benefits to the customers that keep coming back time after time again to buy their products?

Just a thought is all...

Considered it? I don't know. Do they have it? Nope. They don't seem to give two shats if you spend a good portion of your income on their products.

Why should they provide a discount to customers who keep coming back, since they'll keep coming back without the discount.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a discount but it ain't going to happen.
