Apple Mac are real bad with me, Help

I live in Rome I bought a 3000euro new Apple Mac laptop. It never worked. I bought it in a registered store. I sent it back, 4weeks ago. In the meantime they still have it and I have lost two jobs now and have no pc to work with. I am not rich it took me a year to save for this machine. I called customer support which costs 20cent a minute. They are giving me the run around.
What should I do pleas help I need to work soon.
Are they alwasy this bad or is it just Italy.
Do you think I will ever see it.

I say go see them in person and if they dont give your computer, send them a lawsuit.

But if he bought it in Rome at and he's living in Rome, why doesn't go to that address and try to sort it out?
He's posted 4 times in different MR forums and twice at dublin.ie http://www.dublin.ie/forums/search.php?searchid=101114 on the same topic.

Well,I'm one of the worker of this shop,today the computer is arrived from Apple(Ireland) here and it is the new model.Giovanni had the older.
We don't know Sean T,only Giovanni ,we have good feeling and we try to help him in the best way we can,we tell to Giovanni to change his computer,Apple just want to change the logic board.
We are very happy to help Giovanni like all the others customer we have.
