Apple Mac Mini Electric Cable

Does it make a difference on which side of the Apple Power Cable you plug-in to the back of the Mac Mini? One side has some small lettering and the other side none. My cord seems to not plug in smoothly, however, it does work on either side.

Grab one of the ten black ones spread over your house and swap it. The white one looks ugly with the mini anyway.
