Hi folks,

I have Macbook Pro 13" 2018 Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports
Here is the specification:
Processor: 2.3GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Memory: 8GB DDR3
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536MB
256GB SSD (24GB available)
macOS Monterey Version 12.3.1

When I'm using the MacBook it feels that he getting hot (I checked with my hand on the back of the laptop)
it happens while I'm using WhatsApp desktop, Safari, and Outlook.
In addition at some point, the fans does a lot of noise (maybe this is a normal situation to get cold the laptop)

The monitoring health system doesn't point to specific thing.

someone can help with that problem?

How hot? Some heat and fans may be normal, depending on what each of the programs you list is doing.

Is it hooked up to an external monitor?

I've used that form factor several times - my work MBP is the same form factor (13' MBP - 4 port). Just browsing a dozen webpages and being hooked up a to a 4k monitor will result in fan noise and a warm case. I purchased and used an eGPU to keep the fan noise and case heat down for this purpose. (I have the i7 13' MBP too - you can't use that thing on your lap without a lap desk).

Man I guess the M1 really fixed this. My 2020 M1 13" MBP I only hear during gaming and even then its pretty quiet and never really hot, not even warm.

Unfortunately running hot is common occurrence on the Touch Bar models. It should be okay but when You switch to M1 these issues will largely be a distant memory
