Hey Guys,

Just bought a new MacBook Pro for £1,600 yesterday and being an 18 year old student, that's ALOT of money!

I'm so scared about taking it outside incase I drop it or something!

So just wondering if anyone has their MBP insured with any particular company for accidental damage?

Please post your comments,

Thanks!

Mine is covered under my house insurance. I have accidental damage and cover up £2,000 for items away from the home.
Assuming your parents have insurance, see if it can be covered under that.

Yeah, I'll need to find out about that, however does anyone know of any independent firms which offer accidential damage protection for like a fixed fee a year or something?

Thanks again!

The 17"?? £1600 is the price of the 15" without discount... please tell me you bought the 17"! If not return and get your discount!

Check out Endsleigh insurance, they're quite popular among students.

Nah I bought the 15" - LOL

I wasnt even aware of that offer, I'm not gonna return it because 17" would be too big for me as I gotta take my MacBook Pro with my EVERYWHERE!

Thanks for telling me though :D
