What do you believe the future of the Magic Mouse is?
There are so many other great options on the market, I can't understand why anyone would choose this device over what's currently out there. Its ergonomics are poor, it has fewer features, and it has Lightning (admittedly, could be updated).
Maybe Apple feels that they need to offer one, but literally don't know how to make a better one using glass and aluminium. Many will recall the Mighty Mouse that, although had a trackball which stopped working properly in no time, was at least comfortable to hold and a classic Apple design.
The Magic Trackpad seems like an obvious upgrade unless you're doing more prosumer/professional work, and therefore need a mouse for precise pointer control.
Would be interested to hear everyone's thoughts, particularly those who like the mouse. If so, what draws you to it? Thanks
