So I have had this wallet since they came out, about 3 years ago. It’s falling apart now. I contacted Apple support and they said this is normal and it has “had a good run” but I could take it in for a Genius Bar appointment.
I got mine in September last year and the rubber edge peeled off on mine where yours is split, and the rubber has separated on the top right corner. Wondering if I should make a Genius Bar appointment.
For the OP - yeah, 1-year warranty so you’re likely SOL.
@thecautioners if yours is under a year, I’d suggest calling Apple rather than Genius Bar. They’ll likely gather photos so that they can decide if the issue is “cosmetic” or covered by warranty.
