Hi

Everything seems to be working in Apple Mail but I have noticed my imap account has lost the email address alias's I was using.

I could add them in account preferences before but I cant seem to do it now, I tried adding the email alias I uses to the email dropdown option in the settings but it does not seem to save.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Update*

I add the email aliases but they vanish, think its because apple mail is not prompting me to save any mail settings.

Is this a known bug with Sierra and apple mail.

Is there any other way to save the settings?

I noticed that some (but not all?) of my aliases for non-iCloud accounts went away. I added them back in Accounts, Email Addresses, Edit Email Addresses. No problems, except I think the edit box is a bit flakey. I had the best results by adding the name, tabbing, adding email address, and tabbing out of the entry before I hit OK.

My problem seems to be with saving settings, nothing at all saves now , I tried changing when junk messages get deleted for example.
Quit mail, opened it again and its back to how it was originally.

I have no prompt to save anything, weird!

Traditionally, lots of Apple settings boxes did not need you to save anything when you were done. The Mail Accounts box was a notable exception.

It is possible that something in your account is messed up, one easy way to test is to set up another account and try the same things there.

I deleted email account and re added it, everything seems to save now. I don't get save prompts like I did in el cap. Maybe its all saved in the background now in apple mail as well?
