Hi,new user,please be gentle,
Apple Mail appears to be working properly but I have suddenly lost all my personal folders from the sidebar, all the other usual folders are there e.g Draft ,New ,Sent etc.
I have tried enabling and re-enabling the account (BTInternet) under preferences but has made no difference...any ideas anyone?

Could they be hidden? (Yeah, I hate those invisible mouse-over buttons too!)

In Mail's left column, do you see a section titled "On My Mac"? Hover your mouse pointer over it and a "+ Show" button should appear next to it. Click that to disclose the local mailboxes (they should have stuck with the normal disclosure triangle there).
