I used Apple Mail on the Mac for ages but on the new iphone I got it seems to not really work.
I can go into settings of email and turn on email sync for all the various google accounts I have,
But it only syncs one account and when I tried deleting it in Mail it logs out and there is nothing.

I really don't understand the settings>Mail App>Mail Accounts
There I got 5 in the list +icloud but in the Mail app I can only seem to manage to get a single account in.

How is this supposed for work. On the Mac having multiple accounts works perfectly fine.

PS: I know Gmail app is an option but is it really the only option?
 
In the Mail app, look at the Mailboxes view. If you are looking at one of your inboxes, it should say "Back" or something like that at the top to go back to the list of mailboxes.

If you don't see "All Inboxes" (which is a view that shows mail chronologically from all of your accounts), hit the "Edit" button top-right and make sure that "All Inboxes" is checked.
 
Hmm, I did find something which was all email but i think that is just one of the inboxes/folders in the one synced google account.

The other odd thing is in the Mail Accounts in settings I find:
- AccountA -> open and there is 4 sliders all on (mail, contacts, accounts, notes) but account settings if clicked just allows me to set something - not sure why I am logged in
- AccountA again different label only -> this time everythin except calendars is on and in account settings actual email settings appear like smtp ...
- AccountB,C -> only mail is checked and like the first A no real settings
- ...
So in Android you configered a Google, Microsoft whateve account and then if you turn on the slider for contact sync or not does it syncs stuff or not.
For Calendar this seems to work on the iphone but for Mail it seems completely broken. How should this look any ideas how to fix it.

In the Mail app itself:
I have
- Inbox
- Flagged
- Unread

AccountA the label (so the second from above)
And no other accounts
I can add mailboxes but if I try that it seems to only add a folder?

I think this is just broken and really shouldn't be this hard to find.
 
Maybe I have to manually configure all the mail account (imap) settings like in the old days.
