I checked and this comes up a lot but not seen recent posts.

I have an Apple account from a country I used to live in and that was set up with an iCloud.com email address.

I moved and had to set up another account, but kept the iCloud email address.

I now need more storage and upgraded iCloud on my "new" account. To add Mail I needed to make a new iCloud email, which I've done.

I decided to make a rule in Mail to Redirect any mail to my old email address to my new iCloud email address.

Doing it on my iMac does absolutely nothing. However if I log into iCloud on my old account, I can forward from old email to new.

But I don't want to forward, I want to redirect (makes replying easier).

Does anyone have any handy tips they can share please? I'd really love to get it working.

Cheers.

If you have both accounts in your Mail inbox, you could run a rule to MOVE the email from the old icloud account to the new one.
If ANY fo the following conditions are met:
ACCOUNT = OLD iCloud Account
Perofrm the follwoing actions:
MOVE MESSAGE to mailbox ALL INBOXES > NEW ACCOUNT
