Apple Mail

Hi Guys,

I'm desperately waiting to try out the public beta but wanted to know to the ones who have the developer beta if apple mail introduced any new features or simply some design enhancements? Could anyone post screenshots of the composing window?

I love microsoft outlook beta for mac but dislike that you can't markup attachments easily like in Apple Mail.

I think that it was stated that Big Sur fixed the, deprecated in Catalina, columns view (the old classic view) have you noticed any improvement?

Favourites, which used to be across the top, are now in the Folders side-bar.

The folders in the side-bar have loads of blank space between each one. Awful use of space.

The unified inbox, sent folder etc. folders have gone. Instead, they can be added to Favourites but the relevant folders stay (duplicated) under each account. This is a bad design decision imo as it wastes so much space. I've logged a Feedback.

Which is exactly what I said. Kind of They're now part of Favourites, plus the individual mailboxes no longer get removed from the display under each mail account. In Catalina, Mail had a unified mailboxes toggle, and enabling it removed the individual mailboxes from display under the relevant mail accounts.
