iPhone Apple maps crash on opening

This is weird as i don't think its any of my tweaks that are causing this but i might be wrong.

When i open apple maps it just crashes back to the springboard... in normal and safe mode.

I have the following tweaks installed.

Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening... I have been using other maps instead but my OCD wants this fixed. lol!
 
What tweak is using LockPages? I thought that was just for LockInfo7.

The -2 version of LockPages was sending my 5S into safe mode at startup a few days ago. I had to uninstall LockInfo, remove the beta repo, then reinstall.

On a side note, I did have some weird issues with barrel (can't say that this is you're map issue) but I did uninstall mine a few weeks back.

was there ever a solution for this? I am also having this issue on both my 6 plus and 5s, both on 8.1. Not sure when the problem started.
 
I have the same issue with my maps, only tweak we have in common is TinyBar...

I'll try to uninstall and see if thats the issue.
 
I actually figured it out overnight. I had uninstalled and reinstalled all my tweaks and nothing helped. Found a thread online (think it was reddit) which mentioned Igotya had had this problem with an update at one time. So I reinstalled Igotya (I had had it installed previously but since switched back to icaughtyou) on each device and problem solved. 100% was Igotya. I'm not sure how long I've had the issue as I have GPS in my vehicles so don't use the apple maps, but must have been awhile as I've not had Igotya installed for quite some time.

i have the same issue and have never installed igotya so its gotta be something else.
 
I also had this problem, and Igotya has nothing to do with it, (for me at least) because I don't even have it... The way I fixed it was by blacklisting eclipse 2 from changing the ba round color on maps, I only thought of this because it was the most recently updated tweak that I changed, and after blacklisting things are perfect... I didn't even realize for a couple weeks it wasn't working as I don't use it much... But I tried a hard reset and network settings reset and everything logical before remembering I had this problem once with the first eclipse for iOS 7

I hope all you guys figure out what's causing your issues but this was what fixed mine if anyone also updated eclipse recently and hasn't blacklisted it from changing maps

That is exactly what it was for me i added it to the blacklist and it is working just fine now thanks for the tip.
 
It's good to add various fixes to the thread, because different tweaks, different phones, different ios versions, and sometimes what works for one, doesn't work for others. I don't have eclipse (had it in the past though it wasn't for me), but if that was the issue for you, awesome that you found it and shared (because others may find this thread through search and have the same problem. :)

Thats exactly why I posted, I even realized that the op doesn't have eclipse installed ( or at least not in the list of the post)

But as you said different iPhones, iPads and iOS versions, tweaks...

So far we have two known fixes for this problem and the more the better, so hopefully people will continue to add fixes caused by problems with other tweaks...
