Apple Maps Help

I'm a commercial driver that on occasion uses Apple navigation maps but the problem I'm having is awhile ago I changed some setting that keeps the view zoomed out. I want it back to the zoomed in. I looked everywhere but I can't find it. It's not the 3D setting it's something else. Please help!

Don't you just zoom in and out as needed using the pinch/unpinch action or double-tapping some areas that you want to zoom in on?

No you can't zoom while in navagation
