I am trying to use Apple Maps for driving directions to a location that has been impacted by Hurricane Helene. As of now, maps is refusing to provide directions. Is there a way to force the Maps to use closed roads?

I really doubt Apple - or anyone else - would want to do that because of potential liability issues.
That is what I was afraid of. I liked my old Garmin GPS that would say “Continue on current route to current route” when I drove over a river in the Washington DC area that the bridge/road was not in the data on the Garmin.

I tried changing the departure time to 14 days from now. That didn’t help.

Yeah, there have been lawsuits where Google Maps has directed someone over a road closure -
