I’m finding the Apple Maps speed limits to be quite out of date on many roads in Rutland, Lincolnshire and Norfolk.

I appreciate it’s no substitute for my own eyes on the road, however, wrong speed limits have given me some brown trouser moments on occasions lately 😬.

I think the data is provided by TomTom, I’ve made some update submissions via their map update tool, however, no feedback or update has been made.

An example road is the A149 out of King’s Lynn to Hunstanton. The speed limits were changed when Prince Philip had his accident, 50MPH along this stretch now. Apple Maps still displays 60MPH where Volkswagen maps displays the correct information with their latest update.

Apart from this I’m finding Apple Maps/CarPlay to work very well.
