I can usually count on Apple maps for my daily navigation needs. However I find myself having to go to Waze or Google maps is I need precise info regarding traffic issues. Waze usually has way to much info like potholes and other miscellaneous notifications, seems like there's one every mile. Google maps I understand pulls data from Waze and is usually on point showing an accident ahead or construction details.
Apple maps rarely shows the little yellow diamond construction sign indicating road work. However I did notice today it did and for once it was accurate. There was a crew working right where the hazard notification was.
My question is where and how does apple get this info from and how often. I really wish it was as accurate as at least Google maps or would let us submit accident or construction info.
