I just spotted that Apple is using their own mapping data on https://beta.icloud.com/ for Find My iPhone instead of Google's. It is the first time their mapping data are accessible via web AFAIK.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the post, but I've always used iCloud's Find my phone on the web and it seemed to be using Maps for a while
