Hi guys,

I had reset my phone and this message came up when I attempted to download a free app.
Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions have Changed - You must read and accept the terms and conditions.
I clicked on Cancel.

Since I never had seen this message appear in the app store before, is this message generated by a malware?
Or, is this a legitimate message?

Should I select OK or Cancel next time?

And how can I read the terms and agree to this message on my computer instead?

Thanks

The terms and conditions get updated here and there, often when a new major iOS version is released or something else of that nature. Nothing really strange or new about it. Nothing wrong with accepting the terms right on your device.

No major version release on my phone yet. I still have iOS 9.3.5 on it.
So should I select OK on that message?

Thanks

iOS 10 and macOS Sierra were released and the terms were updated for anyone that uses iTunes and the App Store (even if they aren't using those iOS and macOS versions). If you want to use the App Store and iTunes Store and related items then you'd need to accept the updated terms.

Ok, so it is not a message generated by malware?
If not, then thanks, I will select Accept or OK.
Call me paranoid.

It's a message that comes from Apple (in relation to their services like App Store, iTunes Store, etc.).
