since tuesday's beta, the apple menu items are (mostly) unresponsive on my intel imac. only system preferences and the app store open.

so, i cannot sleep my mac or restart from the menu. and the key command i use to sleep my mac does not work. (i can, of course, access sleep etc with the power button).

it's (mostly) not working...

anyone else experiencing this? any ideas? (i reported it in feedback assistant).

EDIT: really interesting, in that the menu items respond when any app is frontmost... 🤯 so, seem to be a Finder issue.

fwiw, i deleted the finder prefs, force-quit the finder... and everything worked... briefly. i slept my mac from the key command once, and clicking on the menu... once. then, not working again (unless i bring an app to the front).

Nope, not having the issue. Upgraded to Beta 3 today in my Ventura VM and the Apple Menu works perfectly fine.

(Sorry this post is so unhelpful...)

Yep, having the same here on the latest beta; apps don't open windows (eg if you open Mail and Safari, close the windows, then later click in the Dock, a new window never opens), apps don't always click after right clicking on app in Dock... I find that a 'killall Dock' in terminal temporarily fixes things, but then it breaks again after however many minutes.

EDIT: This was the first thread I opened, but glad to see I'm not alone! https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...os-monterey-12-5-to-developers.2350162/page-3
