I took some screen shots of the hardware that was in the test lab. Might be new iMac platform, or might be some large tablet for professional artists as it has a power on button on the face of the device. The screen looks like it has iPad Pro design. On the back of the motherboard there appears to be a daughter board, possibly a graphics card. Also there is an ethernet port on the top of the motherboard. Should I invest in some tinfoil hats?

I looked around the lab too. Apple aren’t amateurs though. They would absolutely sterilize the lab of upcoming products before making that video.
I don't know. If you look at the boards in the third screenshot, it somehow appears that a MagSafe power cord is connected to them on the upper left side. Can't fathom that's how the iMac would get power. At the same time, I imagine the large PDA-looking device that seems to be connected to the logic board is a test-unit touch screen. I don't know why I think that, but I can't figure out what else it is, and there's no way there's going to be something with reflective glass going on the logic board and underneath the screen. It does seem like there's a processor with some kind of analysis tool on top of it. But if we're looking at ports, there aren't enough. Where are the USB-A and Thunderbolt ports? None of the slots seem to be RAM or PCI-E slots, either. It's just weird.
The fake racks with blue lights on each side of the ”lab” is a bit of a giveaway that this room is a set. So anything in there was likely placed deliberately and intended to convey the impression of a working lab. I seriously doubt that any equipment from Apple’s real hardware lab is in that room.
Edit: I actually found it rather disappointing and, for lack of a better word, “cheap”, that Apple would stoop to that level of putting Hollywood-style fake server racks into the video like that to try to score authenticity points with the audience, but actually does the opposite, IMHO.
