Great, yet another wireless camera that can be easily disrupted by a radio jammer.

Is there any wired camera that's compatible with HomeKit?

If this is in development, Apple needs to not spend years of research before releasing a camera and a couple more years of features dribbling out till it's finished. They have lots of good in-house camera technology, face recognition software, and other tools where this should be running in a lab already.

Also, it should not require a big iCloud account to store video. There should be a microSD slot to allow for local recording, the ability to store it locally on a NAS or external drive attached to a Mac, and the ability to view live/stored video securely from a remote location. This is unlikely since Apple services are such a big revenue stream for the company.

I’ve been saying for a while, they really need to start making their own home accessories. It’s a particularly good area for them to move into because it’s an area they will face little regulatory scrutiny - the market for home devices is big and they are very open to competition there so it will be hard for any government to argue they are being monopolistic in the market.

AirPort Express and Extreme it's time tooo.... New Mac mini, has bottom like extreme "shell". The same.

Apple może rozbić bank, jak to zrobi a zrobi, bo kto ma zrobić? Jak to jest zniszczyć konkurencję, chyba nie chcą niszczyć... tak generalnie, otwierają się na współpracę, dają wolność i to się chwali. Brawo!

Apple can break the bank if it does and it will, because who is supposed to do it? How is it to destroy the competition, I don't think they want to destroy... so in general, they open up to cooperation, give freedom and it's praised. Bravo!
