I recently came upon this vintage TAMS Apple mug in a charity shop. I'm not looking to part with it, but I'd love to know how old it is, any background, and also if its worth anything.

I haven't found photos of this exact design/mug-style online so I hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I do. Thanks :)

All I can help with is to state that Apple began using a red Apple Logo to represent support & AppleCare sometime in the late 90's

Although, there are some red logo products in this 1995 "Apple Merchandising Catalog":

There seems to be other Mugs with the same design but made in china.

For reference, these two have been relisted at these prices: (NOT an endorsement):

Thankyou for the info on that, and the links, I really appreciate it.

That is interesting, I'm no mug expert but I'd say the style of mine looks a little more dated than the made in china's. I think one of my next steps is researching TAMS mugs. Possibly see if there's a collectors forum.

Thanks again for narrowing things down and giving direction to the hunt. :)

Did you ever get any where with this? I remember the Tams Earthwares (as John Jams PLC) when I used to work up in the Stoke-On-Trent area back in the early 1990s…
