Good afternoon.

Has anyone else had a problem with Apple Music and iTunes purchases at all?

I found the album Now That's What I Call Music! 1984 and added it to my iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch and it streamed absolutely fine.

I quite liked the compilation so purchased it via iTunes on my iPhone-Apple have charged my credit card and it plays fine on my iOS devices.

Am on my iMac using iTunes 12.5.3.17 and for some reason there's an error with playback; rather than the full songs it's just playing the tracks as if I'm previewing them in the iTunes store.

I've removed the downloads from my iTunes library on my iMac and completed the download again but the problem still persists.

Sorry for asking the obvious, but:
  • Is iTunes signed in to the same account as your iOS devices?
  • Is iTunes authorised for playback? (Account > Authorisations > Authorise This Computer)

Hello.

Indeed it is, yes. I signed out of iTunes on my iMac and back in again; after that it decided to download the tracks in full.

Was just coming back to report I'd managed to get it working again.
