Universal Apple Music and Dropbox

I'm considering storing all of my music files on Dropbox. Are there any issues I need to be aware of when using Dropbox with Apple Music? I'm hoping it's no different from having a library stored on an external hard drive.

Are you talking about iOS or on a Mac? I don’t think it’s possible on iOS.

That discussion says, "Point the Music app on the iMac to the iTunes Library in Dropbox, by holding down the Option Key when opening the Music app on the iMac and navigating to the "ITunes Library.itl" file on Dropbox".

Three questions:

1. In Dropbox, I don't have a .itl file I only have a folder I created named iTunes Library with some music files placed in it. I believe the .itl file gets created after I import my first song. Is that correct?
2. How do I get Music to Import from Dropbox? I did the Option key trick, but then became immediately stuck as I don't know how to choose or create a library that's located in Dropbox.
3. How do I get Music to point the Music app on the iMac to the iTunes Library in Dropbox?
