Afternoon,
Some help / advice please if possible

I have an iPad Pro, an iPhone XR and an iMac Mini - The iMac is my first ever venture into MacOS so just learning

Anyway, I have never really been into music and not purchased any since CD was king in the 90s but having got into walking / running etc. over "lockdown" I needed some inspiration

So last night I spent 20 quid on a handful of compilation albums, 80s and 90s stuff mainly and made a handful of playlists. All this was done from my sofa via Ipad

Anyway, have gotten prepared for a run today and assumed my purchased music would be downloaded onto my iPhone (so I don't have to stream whilst away from wifi) and also my playlists would also be there

But no, no sign of them. No music on phone. No playlists listed

So I hoped onto the Mac mini

Now there is some music there, but only what I purchased yesterday, a couple of older albums purchased from the sales don't list at all, and an Oasis album I purchased only has 2 songs listed

Again, none of my created playlists are there

Now I have no desire / need to subscribe to Apple Music, its a service that would just be lost on me and once winter returns I doubt I will even be listening to any music as I don't go running

So, am I missing something obvious ?
I don't mind manually creating my playlists, but be ideal not to
I am a little concerned why only the recent albums show on the Mac mini

Any and all help gratefully received

Thanks

Hi, firstly to say I'm assuming all your devices share the same iCloud account. The following is fairly basic but hopefully a starter:

1) open iTunes on iMac device, go to the Account on the menu bar then Authorisations and enable Authorise this computer.
2) for iPhone & iPad got to Settings>iTunes & App Store and enable the obvious relevant tick boxes.
3) Again for iPad & iTunes Settings>Music>Preferences> and ensure relevant tick boxes are ticked (including sync library & Add playlist songs)
4) Back to iTunes on the iMac go to Account>View my account>manage account to check if all your devices are registered (you may need to give it some time like an hour)

There are some useful tutorials / tips etc on YouTube to consult as well

Cheers.
Certainly all on same account and my photos and also my Apple TV purchases and progress sync fine, just the music

I shall try and go through those options again 1 by 1 and see if sort
