Apple Music App not showing my stored music

for some reason the music app will not show my stored music. It is only showing the following:

Try disabling Apple Music from the settings app

I believe it tries to connect online to prompt you to start an Apple Music subscription.

Make sure you are not in Airplane Mode and turn off Apple Music from Settings if you don't want it.

I already had the Apple Music disabled. It finally just went to my library. Another thing that happened prior to that was that all my apps just disappeared from home screen. I went into a hard restart to clear that up. Just odd occurrences last night with iOS
